WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Dan Landsman (Black), the chairman of his high school’s alumni committee, is busy organising the 20th reunion bash. He gets the idea to convince Oliver Lawless (Marsden), the most popular guy in his graduating class, to attend with the hopes that it will attract the attention of other former alumni, so Dan heads out to California to visit Oliver, who is now a struggling actor – but things soon get out of hand…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

If you thought your high school reunion was awkward, you’ve got nothing on the cringing hijinks of Jack Black and James Marsden in The D Train, a comedy about the people you grew up with and whether or not they’ve grown up at all.
