WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

During an expedition into the uncharted American wilderness of 1823, explorer and fur trapper Hugh Glass (DiCaprio) is attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his hunting team, including criminal John Fitzgerald (Hardy). Glass survives, and is forced to take extreme measures if he is survive the harsh winter landscapes and exact revenge on those who wronged him…
