WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

On July 22nd 2011, at a political summer camp on the offshore island of Utøya in Norway, a group of youths learn that a right-wing extremist has attacked a government building in Oslo, but are reassured that the incident is not happening anywhere near them. Unfortunately, when the killer arrives on the island and opens fire, the youths – including Kaja (Berntzen) – are left to run for their lives…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The second movie this month to focus on the monstrous Norway attacks of 2011, the first being Paul Greengrass’ 22 July, this one provides a devastating moment-by-moment account of the rampage that left over 70 people dead, among them young people.
