WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Andrew Neyman (Teller) is an ambitious young jazz drummer at an elitist music school, who is determined to become one of the greats and step out of the shadow of his father’s (Reiser) failed writing career. He is soon spotted by Terence Fletcher (Simmons), an instructor with a terrifying but strong reputation who recruits Andrew into his jazz band and keeps pushing him to the brink of his abilities and sanity in order to achieve perfection…
