WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the 90s, the X-Men – as led by Professor Charles Xavier (McAvoy) – are a group of national heroes who are undertaking increasingly risky missions. When a rescue mission in space goes awry, young mutant Jean Grey (Turner) is hit by a solar flare and given a series of powerful new abilities that threaten to corrupt her and turn her into an unstoppable force. The X-Men must now decide what actions they need to take to contain her abilities before it’s too late, even if it means doing the impossible…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The final X-Men movie under Fox’s watch – thanks to its recent acquisition by Disney, meaning we’ll get to see rebooted mutants in the MCU sometime in the future – promises to be the most daring and dramatic yet, especially as it’s taking on a popular storyline that previous X-Men movies couldn’t do justice.
