A young man named Jon (Gleeson) has a strong interest in music, and joins a strange band known as “Soronprfbs” as led by the eccentric Frank (Fassbender) who at all times wears a papier-mâché head over his real one. Together, the band tries to raise their profile so that they are invited to perform at the prestigious South by Southwest festival…

An odd little indie that’s sure to become a huge cult favourite after its stellar debut at this year’s Sundance festival, Frank manages to be both charmingly eccentric and eccentrically charming all in one.
