WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Mary (Scanlan), a British woman who has converted to Islam, is left devastated when her husband Ahmed (Memarzia) suddenly dies. Shortly after the funeral, Mary discovers that Ahmed led a secret life in a small Calais town, only 21 miles away from their Dover home, and decides to confront the people he shared his double existence with, only to uncover some heart-breaking reveals that compel her to re-examine her entire identity…
