WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Four years after the devastating Decepticon attack on Chicago, struggling inventor Cade Yeager (Wahlberg) and his daughter Tessa (Peltz) discover a deactivated Optimus Prime, which leads government agents and vengeful Decepticons right to them. Meanwhile, powerful forces attempt to learn from past Transformer encounters and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Giving the Transformers franchise a semi-clean slate – nixing LaBeouf, the overblown comedy et al – may have been the smartest thing that Michael Bay has done in a while, so let’s hope it all pays off in this explosive fourth entry.
