WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Single mother Callie (Coon) and her two children Phoebe (Grace) and Trevor (Wolfhard) are forced to relocate to a rundown farmhouse in Summerville, Oklahoma, where they encounter a series of mysterious earthquakes and strange occurrences by the old mine shaft. Soon, supernatural phenomena begins occurring all over town, leaving Callie, Phoebe and Trevor – whose grandfather Egon was a member of the long-forgotten group known as the Ghostbusters – along with their new friends, including school teacher Mr. Grooberson (Rudd), to solve a decades-old mystery and adopt the Ghostbusters’ technology to deal with the spooky threat…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

While the divisive 2016 reboot may not have rejuvenated the dormant Ghostbusters franchise, this all-encompassing follow-up to the 80s classic should do the trick, with its introduction of a new generation to help bustin’ make you feel good once again.
