WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

After leaving their native India, young chef Hassan (Dayal) and his family move into a quiet French village and open a restaurant. This attracts the attention of Madame Mallory (Mirren), the cold-hearted proprietress of a popular French restaurant that is located one-hundred feet across the road. Squabbling is inevitable, but when Mallory recognises a gift in Hassan she takes him under her wing and helps him achieve greatness…
