In Miami Beach during the Iraq War, wo young friends, David (Teller) and Efraim (Hill), seek to exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on US military contracts, and soon they end up making an incredible amount of money. However, when they are soon offered a $300 million deal by the US government to arm the Afghan military, they soon run afoul of some very shady business operatives both within and outside the American government…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Based on the unbelievable true story of two young 20-somethings being handed $300 million to complete an arms deal, War Dogs is prime material for director Todd Phillips to flex his new-found unpleasantness in this shocking and provocative comedy-thriller.
