WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1964, American writer and art-lover James Lord (Hammer) takes a short trip to Paris where he is asked by his friend, world-renowned artist Alberto Giacometti (Rush) to sit for a portrait. James agrees when he is promised it will only take a few days – which turns out to be quite a bit longer, thanks to Giacometti’s fierce perfectionism…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Stanley Tucci’s latest film as writer and director is the lively, funny and ultimately soulful look at a very strange event in artist Alberto Giacometti’s life.
