Thirty-something Nancy Freeman (Riseborough) lives a quiet and obscure life in New York who is mourning the passing of her sick and overbearing mother (Dowd), until she sees a news report about a couple (Buscemi and Smith-Cameron) whose infant daughter went missing thirty years ago. She soon becomes convinced that she is their missing child, and pays the grieving couple a visit in a life-changing experience…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Andrea Riseborough – in the second of two movies released this week in which she features as the title character – gives an unknowing and deeply compelling performance in the directorial debut of short filmmaker Christina Choe.
