WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Madame Sabine De Barra (Winslet) is unexpectedly chosen to act as the landscape architect for the incomplete Palace of Versailles. As she builds the garden for King Louis XIV’s (Rickman) humble abode, she finds herself drawn to the enigmatic architect Le Nôtre (Schoenaerts) as well as facing challenges from the etiquette of the King’s court.
