WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Whilst living in Taiwan, an American woman named Lucy (Johansson) is forced to become a drug mule for the mob. When the drug she is carrying inside her body starts leaking, she suddenly becomes able to use more than the normal 10% of her brain’s capacity which gives her unusual superhuman abilities. With them, she starts to turn the tables on the mob and all who oppose her…

After a few misfires including The Lady and The Family, cult auteur Luc Besson finally returns to his familiar sci-fi territory with an exciting new action film about the powers we don’t know we possess and how we can use them for the greater good.
