WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

During the final years of the Second World War, a group of art curators, art historians and museum directors band together to form a platoon which aims to recapture stolen art from the Nazi regime. The “Monuments Men” are then tasked by the government to go into Germany and rescue the stolen paintings before they are destroyed during the downfall of the Nazis…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

An eccentric real-life war story is explored on the big screen, and with director George Clooney leading an international ensemble cast to victory then it should be a work of art (sorry).
