WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
Ever since she suffered a near-death experience as a child, Darby (Downs) has been able to see dead people. As a teen, she prefers to converse with her ghostly associates than anyone living, but when popular girl Capri (Cravalho) unexpectedly dies, and comes to Darby for help with convincing her friends to go ahead with her planned “Sweet 17” party, Darby begins to find new meaning in her life…
IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?
A teen comedy with a supernatural twist, Darby and the Dead gets plenty of gallows humour out of a rather dark premise, which will nonetheless win over its adolescent audience.
