WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In Iran, a family drives across the rugged landscape on a road trip. Tensions rise during their journey, as the father (Majuni) deals with a broken leg, the mother (Panahiha) tries to keep peace as well as take care of their sick dog, the eldest son (Simiar) is mysteriously quiet as he drives, and the younger son (Sarlak) restlessly draws on the windows and sings loudly to the radio. Despite everything, though, the family sticks together and lets their love for one another guide their way…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

This award-winning crowd-pleaser from first-time Iranian filmmaker Panah Panahi is a joyous, funny and utterly endearing family road trip comedy that will have everyone falling in love with it.
