WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1943, the Allied Forces are preparing to storm the shores of Sicily in an attempt to loosen Hitler’s grasp across occupied Europe. However, the Nazis get wind of their plan, forcing intelligence officers Ewen Montagu (Firth) and Charles Cholmondeley (Macfadyen) to come up with a fool-proof plan to trick the enemy: plant false information onto a dead body for the Nazis to find. Their efforts to spread disinformation, with assistance from younger intelligence officer Ian Fleming (Flynn), would eventually lead to the tide of war being significantly overturned…
