After his wife mysteriously dies, Eric Black (Hughes) takes a job as a shepherd on a solitary island. However, as it becomes clear that there is a dark secret lurking on the island, Eric must battle his sanity and grief to save what little he has left of his life…

This dark psychological thriller plays on mood and atmosphere to deliver some unexpected chills and occasionally surreal shifts of reality in a similar fashion as Robert Eggers’ The Lighthouse.
