In 1945, Helsinki painter Tove Jansson (Pöysti) experiences a new era of artistic and social freedom as she meets and falls in love with theatre director Vivica Bandler (Kosonen), and begins developing the stories of creatures known as the Moomins which would make her an internationally renowned storyteller…
