WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

After going through a divorce, Edgar (Lennon) returns to his childhood home for a fresh start. When he finds a strange puppet in his dead brother’s room, he decides to sell it for some quick cash at a nearby convention celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the infamous Toulon Murders. However, all hell breaks loose when a strange force animates the puppets at the convention, sending them on a bloody killing spree that’s motivated by an ancient evil…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The infamous Puppet Master series is rebooted with this semi-comedic but consistently gory new entry that’s written by S. Craig Zahler, the guy responsible for recent gorefests like Bone Tomahawk and Brawl in Cell Block 99, as well as this week’s Dragged Across Concrete.
