• Like last year’s Sandy Cheeks spin-off movie, the film utilises a fresh CGI look combined with instances of live-action footage for certain sequences
• Expect plenty of vibrant and hilarious musical numbers, co-written by Oscar-winning Flight of the Conchords musician Bret McKenzie
• Kids will find themselves giggling silly at the absurd humour that SpongeBob SquarePants has become renowned for, while adults with fond memories of the show’s earlier years can see how far it has come
